As a lifelong ventilator user, with a tracheostomy, I can speak from first-hand experience about what it is like to live with these things. I have acute knowledge of the medical and social aspects of a long-term physical condition.

Being the receiver of a Personal Health Budget, and the employer of a large group of Personal Assistants, makes me well suited to address care, employment and funding issues.
Diversity & Inclusion
Having experienced inclusion at its best and worst, much of my activism is experiential. I can suggest and explain accessibility adjustments in a variety of settings, and can discuss why awareness is important.
Law & Advocacy
My legal background enables me to discuss discrimination and equality issues. Advocacy is part and parcel of this.
